The NMSU Specialty Crop and Pesticide Applicator collaborative event consists of two separate workshops under one roof, hosted by Extension Plant Sciences and the Doña Ana County Extension Office.

The Specialty Crop workshop will cover specialty crops such as lavender, yellowhorn, tomatoes, pomegranates, pistachios, figs, and soil health basics.

The Pesticide Applicator workshop will be an opportunity for active NMDA pesticide license holders to earn 5 CEU's with presentations on NMDA CEU credited topics delivered by NMSU Extension Specialists.

Registration & Fees: Online registration available! Pay with credit card, mailing your check, or paying at-the-door! Includes registration fee and lunch.

  • Specialty Crop Workshop
    • Time: 7:45 AM - 4 PM
    • Early Registration: $50 (Now - May 31)
    • Late Registration: $75 (June 1 - 6)
  • Pesticide Applicator Workshop
    • Time: 8:30 AM - 3 PM
    • Early Registration: $50 (Now - May 31)
    • Late Registration: $75 (June 1 - 6)

Refunds: Requests must be received in writing to Phillip Lujan at pl11@nmsu.edu by May 30. Include Contact Name, Email, Phone Number, Address, Workshop Attending, NMDA License Number (if attending pesticide workshop), and Method of Payment within your request.
